We are now booking 2026/2027 weddings!

Add this to your cart if you want your wedding bouquet pressed flat and framed in a handmade beech wood frame.

Our frames are constructed by hand on Vancouver Island in partnership with our carpenter Al Ogilvy. The glass is hand cut by a local glass smith. We thank you for valuing handmade quality workmanship, and for supporting local artisans.

Please note: We are currently not accepting bouquets in the mail. We are located in Sooke, British Columbia, Canada and are only offering services locally.

How It Works

Keep your bouquet in water following the wedding until we receive it. Drop off your bouquet in person 1-3 days following the wedding. Usually a bridesmaid or family member drops off the bouquet so you can enjoy your honeymoon!

Once we receive your bouquet, we press it flat. We then use the best pressed pieces and secure them between two panes of glass in a handmade 14.5" x 17.5" beech wood frame. Your frame will be ready for pick up in approximately 4 months, complete with hidden hardware on the back so you can hang it right away.

Choosing Your Flowers

We like to work with bouquets that have different sized flowers, with a variety of colours, tones, and greenery. Please consider sharing the following with your florist.

Flowers that press beautifully: blue thistle, spray roses, eucalyptus, ferns, bunny tails, anemones, delphinium, sweet peas, hellebore, yarrow, hydrangea, astrantia, cosmos, snapdragon, baby's breath, dogwood, queen's lace, caspia, lavender, astilbe.

We do not work with: all-white bouquets, dahlias, lilies, lisianthus, chrysanthemums, orchids, anthurium, gerber daisies, tropical flowers, or flowers treated with chemicals or sparkles. We prefer all natural flowers.

White flowers typically go brown when preserved, so we recommend choosing blush, pink, or another coloured flower. Your bouquet must have a variety of colours, filler flowers, and greenery.

Care & Agreement

By having your bouquet pressed flat and framed by Still Posy you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. Your bouquet is pressed in a traditional wooden flower press and no colour-enhancing preservatives are added. Colours will gradually fade or change over time. This is a natural and organic process. To delay this, hang your frame away from direct sunlight, fluorescent lighting, moisture, and heat sources. A bedroom or hallway away from window light is often the best spot.
  2. We will display the best pressed pieces from your bouquet in the frame and return any extras to you.
  3. We will not correspond with you during the design process. Please refer to our Instagram page to see our style of work @stillposy
  4. There is a chance that your flowers could go bad during the pressing process (molding). Although this has never happened! Still Posy will not be held responsible for any flowers that go bad during the pressing process or thereafter. If this should occur, we will offer a full refund.
